Welcome to The Uncarved Block

We are a wood crafting shop composed of brothers Solomon James and Alex Ward.   

Solomon, a long time musician playing afro-fusion around the world, found a love of woodworking that mirrored his love for music.  He finds expression in this art through creative design using high quality wood. 

Bryson has had a fascination with knives ever since he got his first pocket knife at 12, when he spent summers trying to perfect his sharpening technique.  Since then he's become a collector of fine blades as well as learning woodwork to craft handles with balance, fit, and style.  He's still trying to perfect his skill with sharpening.
